Day 1

ARRIVE CAIRNS

Arrive Cairns and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

GREEN ISLAND

Breakfast at hotel. Green Island package. Cruise to Green Island in under an hour on the “Big Cat” 30mtr catamaran. Relax on the while sandy beach of this tropical coral cay, explore te walking tracks that lead through the national park, and included in your tour is a choice of glass bottom boat tour or use of snorkelling gear for the day. Guests are also treated to a delicious Aussie BBQ lunch and transfers to/from the pier. A range of optional extras is available to book and pay direct on the day such as surf skis, sailboards, canoes, beach lounge chairs and scuba diving. Evening back to hotel and at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

KURANDA RAINFOREST TOUR

Breakfast at hotel. Full day Kuranda Rainforest tour. Travel aboard the coach to the picturesque village of Kuranda with free time to browse and shop. Performance by Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Group and tour through the rainforest in an amphibious army duck. Visit the Koala and Wildlife Park to have your photo taken with a koala, hand feed kangaroos and view the awesome crocodiles. Return by Skyrail. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

CAIRNS – BRISBANE – GOLD COAST

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for the flight to Brisbane. Arrive Brisbane and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5

MOVIE-WORLD

Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Movieworld. Stunt shows, special effect stages and adventures in the 4th dimension. See your favourite Loney Tune cartoon characters and tour through a live working film studio. Experience “Lethal Weapon” – the rides, marvel at the “Maverick” illusion and magic show and take the thrilling waterborne ride through the Wild Wild West. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

SEA-WORLD

Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Seaworld. A visit to Australia’s #1 tourist attraction. Marvel at the dolphin and sealion aquatic show. See divers hand feed sharks. Visit the 3D theatre to view the new “Pirates” movie and enjoy the dozens of thrilling rides including the famous Corkscrew roller coaster and the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

GOLD COAST – BRISBANE – CHRISTCHURCH

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for the flight to Christchurch. Arrive Christchurch and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

CHRISTCHURCH – MT COOK – QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at hotel. Travel across the Canterbury Plains to reach Mt Cook by lunch time. Your journey continues over the Lindis Pass and through the Kawarau Gorge to Queenstown. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9

MILFORD SOUND EXCURSION

Breakfast at hotel. An early start as you follow Lake Wakatipu via Kingston arriving at Te Anau for morning tea break. From here you enter Fiordland National Park. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound Cruise. You will pass Mitre Peak the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the Tasman Sea. Return to the pier where you reboard your coach for your return journey to Queenstown. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10

QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11

QUEENSTOWN – WEST COAST GLACIERS

Breakfast at hotel. Travel through the Kawarau Gorge past Lake Dunstan on toward Wanaka. On past Lake Hawea as you head toward “the neck”. A stop is made in Makarora before crossing the Southern Alps as you enter the Haast Pass. We pause at Knights Point to view magnificent seascapes. From here pass Lakes Moeraki and Paringa then past Bruce Bay to arrive at the Glacier region. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12

WEST COAST GLACIERS

Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13

WEST COAST GLACIERS – GREYMOUTH – CHRISTCHURCH

Breakfast at hotel. Travel along the coast to Greymouth to join The Tranz Alpine train across the Southern Alps to Christchurch.

Day 14

CHRISTCHURCH – SYDNEY

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for the flight to Sydney. Arrive Sydney and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15

CITY TOUR

Breakfast at hotel. Half day city sightseeing tour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16

BLUE MOUNTAINS

Breakfast at hotel. Full day Blue Mountains tour. Travel over Sydney Harbour Bridge and a through the historic townships of Windsor and Richmond to the Blue Mountains National park. Visit Govetts Leap,Grose Valley and the Megalong Valley. At your lunch stop (own expense) take a your choice of ride on the scenic Skyway or scenic Railway. Next visit Echo Point to view The Sisters and on your return journey, a stop is made at Australian Wildlife Park. Evening, return to Sydney and at leisure

DEPARTURE FROM SYDNEY
